Shure QLXD124/85 Handheld and Lavalier Combo Wireless Mic System (X52: 902 to 928 MHz)

The Shure QLXD2/SM58 is a digital handheld wireless microphone transmitter compatible with QLX-D and ULX-D receivers. It comes equipped with the legendary SM58 dynamic capsule, an industry standard for vocal performers and presenters. The capsule features a cardioid polar pattern that minimizes background noise and feedback, and its brightened midrange and bass roll off gives you that sought-after warm and clear vocal reproduction.

The QLXD2/SM58 operates on a 26 MHz UHF tuning range with 1040 selectable frequencies available. It provides up to 9 hours of operation on two AA batteries, with a transmission range up to 330' and a selectable 1/10mW RF power output.

The black Shure WL185 is a cardioid lavalier microphone well suited for a wide variety of interview, presentation, broadcast, and film/video applications. The mic features a TA4F connector compatible with Shure wireless transmitters.

The WL185 lav filters out unwanted low frequencies below 50 Hz and sharp highs in the range above 17 kHz to provide clear, intelligible speech for instructors, journalists, and presenters doing interviews, voiceovers, and dialog. The microphone capsule can handle SPL levels up to 130.5 dB, while the cardioid polar pattern focuses audio capture on the talent in a 130° pick-up angle in front of the mic—picking up less background sound and helping to reduce feedback on amplified stages.

This electret condenser microphone features a 4’ cable and is optimized for a 5 VDC power source, but can operate on 1.5 to 10 VDC available through the TAFM connector on a Shure wireless bodypack transmitter or similar compatible device. A snap-fit windscreen and a smaller foam windscreen are included, along with a modular lapel clip that offers 90° rotation for optimal mic placement. A single-mount lapel clip and a double-mount lapel clip are also provided.

It can be used for wireless vocals and instruments in audio applications such as in presentation spaces, music venues, houses of worship, DJ setups, and more. It features a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency range and has over 120 dB of dynamic range. Features AES 256-bit encryption for secure transmission and up to 9 hours continuous use with two AA alkaline batteries. The QLXD1 quickly syncs with a wireless receiver over IR at the push of a button and maintains clear, uninterrupted signal over its entire 328' range. All metal construction ensures durability and with a wide selection of compatible microphones choices, this bodypack transmitter when paired with a wireless receiver, provides clear audio and gets the job done.

This QLXD1 transmitter offers more than 60 available channels per frequency band and is built with a backlit LCD display to allow for navigation though the menus and controls. A detachable 1/4 wave antenna and TA4M mini connector are also featured with external charging contacts to allow for docked charging. The optional Shure SB900 lithium-ion rechargeable battery (sold separately) can provide up to 10 hours of continuous operation. The Shure QLXD4 is a digital half-rack wireless receiver housed in a rugged, full-metal chassis and compatible with QLXD1 bodypack and QLXD2 handheld transmitters. It provides instructors, presenters, and broadcasters with professional-quality audio, reliable RF performance, and secure AES 256-bit encryption. Easy to set up and operate, it is ideal for use in TV broadcast or sound-reinforcement applications in medium-sized venues and houses of worship, as well as A/V installations in conference, educational, and corporate facilities.

The QLXD4 operates in the X52: 902 to 928 MHz UHF band with a 26 MHz tuning range and 1040 selectable frequencies. It delivers pristine 24-bit/48 kHz digital audio with clarity, accurate low end, and crisp transient response. The receiver utilizes Digital Predictive Switching Diversity to protect the transmission from interference and provide solid RF signal stability without audio artifacts. You can run up to 12 mic channels at the same location.

The unit features audio and RF meters, 60 dB of gain control, and both mic/line XLR and 1/4" instrument outputs. A large LCD screen and intuitive controls let you quickly make adjustments, even in low-light situations. Additional features include automatic frequency scanning, IR sync, and internal limiting to prevent clipping.

The Ethernet port allows multiple receivers to be easily networked together for simplified frequency coordination and deployment via Shure's Wireless Workbench (WWB) software.
